Salzburg state clinics report the total overload
The hospital peaks warn that they will soon no longer be able to guarantee medical care with an “overload display” to politicians.
This has never happened before in the history of healthcare in Salzburg on this scale. On Monday, the managing director of the Salzburg State Clinics, Paul Sungler, sent a so-called overload notification to the hospital operator – the State of Salzburg – headed by Governor Wilfried Haslauer and his deputy Christian Stöckl (both ÖVP). At around 5 p.m., the information was also sent to all primary doctors and the hospital’s supervisory board.
