Vaccination certificate issued by the Republic of Moldova, Serbia and Georgia, recognized by the EU
“As we have been with our partners in the fight against the pandemic, we continue to work together to keep it safe. We bring good news ahead of the Eastern Partnership ministerial meeting. Today, I welcome the fact that Georgia, the Republic of Moldova and Serbia have joined our COVID digital certificate system and look forward to more of our neighbors connecting as soon as possible, ”said EU Enlargement Commissioner Oliver. Varhelyi.
The measure was announced on Monday in Brussels, and it will enter into force on Tuesday, November 16. At the same time, at the level of the European Union, the certificates issued by New Zealand will be recognized.
Documents issued in those countries will be connected to the EU system and accepted under the same conditions as the Union COVID Digital Certificate. The single European will also be certified by the four third countries for travel from the EU to that state.
In total, according to European Commissioner Oliver Varhelyi, after Monday’s decision, 49 countries and territories on five continents are connected to the European Union’s COVID Digital Certificate system.
