BKV was fined 150 million for procuring trams in Frankfurt
The Public Procurement Arbitration Committee imposed a fine of HUF 150 million on BKV because, according to them, the transport company committed a serious violation during the public procurement of trams in Frankfurt – the authority writes Communication.
The Public Procurement Arbitration Committee on November 12 in its decision BKV Zrt. found several serious violations at its expense, therefore it annulled the invitation to participate in the negotiated public procurement procedure for the procurement of 35 used electricity, launched on 19 August 2021.
In the opinion of the Arbitration Committee, it violated a legal requirement with BKV Zrt. the procedure is the same as for the purchase of used low – floor trams, manufactured between 1993 and 1997, by the Frankfurt company before the start of the procurement.
