Lovely, inspiring messages flooded the streets of Budapest
There is something magical about the messages randomly left on the walls of buildings, the windows of cafes, pasted in underpasses and bus stops, which make the days of those who find them a little nicer and easier. To the greatest delight of many of us, it seems that we can find nice messages on the streets of Budapest again, Lídia Gulyás, that is @szialidia courtesy of.
THE Dear Messages project He embarked on his conquest journey in 2017, when one day in September, Lídia hid 70 messages on the streets of Budapest. Not only Budapest, but the whole country was enthusiastic about the kind, inspiring and heartfelt messages written alone at first. This movement also showed that one should not underestimate the power of a word or sentence that has been uttered at a good time, in which case it has been found at a good time.
After a long omission Lydia has now decided to reheat her project and not only did he restart the page called Dear Messages, but we have the opportunity to find kind words and messages on the streets of Budapest again.
Lydia a Dear Messages on Facebook writes about it:
“Recently, I was reminded every day that I wanted to bring back my habit of leaving kind messages wherever I go, on sticky notes, on napkins, on pebbles whenever I can. I used to always have at least a note in my pocket, but the latter has been pushed into the background. It was as if a small piece of myself was suppressed by the hustle and bustle of life, the happenings, the emotions, and so on. These little lines have been beaten many times in recent years. But I still can’t believe them. I believe that every word we have has an effect, I believe that, by some miracle, random kindness seems very non-random to those who find it, experience it, read it, hear it. I believe that not only deeds, but also written, spoken, read words leave traces, touch, build (or even destroy). ”
So it will be worthwhile to walk in Budapest in the next period with open eyes, as Lídia encourages us to find a message found on a street or in a mailbox, and we will put it away, because they are there to find a host.
And if you want to reciprocate these randomly abandoned kindnesses, you can join him: grab a pen and a note, and leave nice messages behind you in places where you’re sure to find someone.
