Health – Hanover – number of new corona infected people in Lower Saxony is increasing – health
Hanover (dpa / lni) – There is no relaxation in the corona situation in Lower Saxony. On Monday, the so-called hospitalization incidence was 3.9 new admissions of Covid 19 patients in hospitals per 100,000 inhabitants within seven days, announced the State Health Office in Hanover. This value remained unchanged compared to Sunday.
The nationwide seven-day incidence rose from 101.8 to 104.7 new infections per 100,000 inhabitants within one week. In contrast, the occupancy of the intensive care beds decreased slightly: on Monday 5.8 percent in the country were occupied with Covid 19 patients, the day before it was 6.1 percent.
A corona warning level is reached in Lower Saxony if the hospitalization value (hospital) and at least one of the two other measures (newly infected, intensive care beds) exceed the limit admissions defined in the ordinance. So the value 6.0 must be exceeded for the leading indicator hospitalization, so that warning level one can possibly be declared.
The warning levels are partly from the state, partly from the districts or urban districts. The prerequisite for this is that the respective values exceed the thresholds for five days in a row.
