Toulouse beats Perpignan (37-15) and takes back the lead in the championship
Toulouse is sovereignly against Perpignan (37-15) this Saturday at Ernest-Wallon. Stade Toulousain takes the lead of the Top 14 before the fall break.
The people of Toulouse are are scared in the first half. Toulouse wakes up in the second half
Stade Toulousain resumed their game in hand in the second half thanks to a test by Maxime Médard from the start. Dominators in melee, the Toulousains crack the Perpignanais. Antoine Miquel grabs the ball during a Perpignan scrum and flattens (66th).
The Perpignais remained solid in defense but ended up breaking down in the 79th minute. After a simulated scrum, Maxime Médard plays in the closed side and finds Arthur Bonneval. The winger comes to register the 5th try of the meeting and allows Toulouse to win the offensive bonus.
Stade Toulousain therefore regains the lead of the Top 14 after Bordeaux’s defeat against La Rochelle on Friday. A good operation which concludes this first block of 10 games. The players now have two weeks of vacation before the resumption of training for the reception of Brive on November 27th.
