The youth and children’s rights are at the center of several activities for two days. The town hall de Toulouse organizes, Place du Capitole, this Thursday 4 and this Friday 5 November 2021, two days dedicated to children and their families.
Debate around children’s rights
“This is an opportunity for children, young people, families and professionals to meet and express themselves on children’s rights and the place of young people in the city», Indicates the town hall of Toulouse.
The event is organized by the City of Toulouse on the occasion of the international children’s rights day, scheduled for November 20. Julia Forma, graphic artist, is the godmother of the event.
Games, sports and cultural visit
Various activities are on the program for these two days. On Thursday, for example, children will visit a photo exhibition, have a go at urban sports courses or build their ideal city in Lego.
This Friday, November 5, will be placed under the sign of sport since young people test several disciplines: boxing, wrestling, skateboarding and fencing.
A meeting with elected officials
The deputy mayor in charge of youth Djillali Lahiani, as well as other elected officials, receive several young people. This exchange will take place as part of a UNICEF national questionnaire on the living conditions of 6/18 year olds. These two days will end with a classical music concert in the Saint-Sernin basilica.
