The meeting of the Supreme State Council of the Union State was held online, via videoconference. It was attended by the heads of Russia and Belarus, Vladimir Putin and Alexander Lukashenko.
According to Mishustin, the integration of the two countries in the energy sector consists in the gradual formation of united markets for oil, gas and electricity.
According to the authorities, the unification will further strengthen the integration processes of the economy and politics of Russia and Belarus.
The integration decree, which provides for the adoption of 28 joint programs, was signed by Putin and Lukashenko.
