The family can adapt the Prague Villa Rivola to their current needs
The Prague Villa Rivola by architects Petr Franta and Petr Kalný was established in 2006 and represents a very interesting architecture. The builder considered the architect to be a partner who could give his expression about housing concrete, and at the same time did not show the obvious.
Thanks to her husband’s profession, the family traveled around the world in various places until they reached Prague. Here, for the first time, she found a place that appealed to her so much that she decided to anchor in it.
The house is designed to suit family life
The house is located in a part of Prague, which after 1990 became a very fashionable and rich neighborhood full of many bloated villas in luxury shows of what is popularly called business baroque.
The house is located slightly on the side overlooking the countryside to maintain the necessary distance, because it is not a representative house, but designed for family living to measure.
There is a pleasant sitting area on the terrace.

The house is very fragmented in the interior, the individual zones have different heights, but so that the larger family has the necessary penetrating space for themselves, which will also allow privacy.
Each member of the family has their own room, but in addition there are many places to meet and live together, not only in the living room, but also in other rooms.
The staircase is very bright thanks to the glazing.

On the ground floor is a large living space, which starts from the largest kitchen, but also gas passes into the residential courtyard. Down in the underground is a technical background, but also a place for sports activities and a sauna.
The concrete wall protects the privacy of the house’s inhabitants.

We will also find rooms here, the purpose will be revealed in the future. It goes up the stairs to the first floor to a space whose purpose is not easy to determine and serves as a hall, games room, rest area or an extended, covered part of a large terrace, according to the current needs of the inhabitants.
They follow the bedroom and bathroom of children, who gain more freedom.
The staircase is dominated by a combination of steel and wood.

It is obvious that the architect had to design the space very freely, because the life of the household cannot be too laced and planned. It is ideal if the house can functionally adapt to it.
