Dream Theater will bring a new album and Devina Townsend to Prague
As part of its Top Of The World Tour, Dream Theater is returning to the Czech Republic, again to the Tipsport Arena in Prague, where they performed a great show in 2020, which was awarded applause from the audience. The band will not only present to the audience on May 26, 2022, consisting of James LaBrie (vocals), John Petrucci (guitar), Jordan Rudess (keyboards), John Myung (bass guitar) and Mike Mangini (drums), and will also play a repertoire from her fifteenth studio album “A View From The Top Of The World”, but also a selection of the best of her more than thirty-year career, which these pioneers of progressive metal have had. Devin Townsend and his band will present themselves as support.
“I hope that when you hear this, you will get the best that Dream Theater has to offer,” says Rudess. “We were trying to build a crucial sound experience. None of us slowed down. If anything, we’re moving faster.” “Despite everything that’s going on, it’s supposed to be positive,” LaBrie specifies. “We can’t wait to perform in front of everyone again and play these songs.” “Music has the power to speak to you on an emotional level,” Petrucci is heard. “If we connect emotionally with the listeners through this, I don’t think we can wish for any more.”
