Prokop (YES): It is necessary to end the anarchy of the Pirates and Prague to Himself
Dear neighbors, for two years my wife and I renounced our favorite skiing. At a time when the government warned that people should not go anywhere, thousands of unruly skiers dragged COVID-19 to the Czech Republic from Italian skiing.

My wife and I are both already vaccinated and we are happy for that! Again, we can enjoy our favorite sport. People seriously, if you are not vaccinated yet or you have already half a year after the last vaccination, please run. Don’t wait for anything. There are still a lot of active cases, and according to the first data, for example, unvaccinated people in their forties end up in hospital twelve times more often these days than their vaccine peers! But enough for that and let’s go to the South City. As always, day after day, what happened last week …
MondayDo you remember my last report as I wrote to you about the widening of the Chilská x Opatovská intersection? Many of you sent me photos and news that the lights stopped working on the weekend and that there would be a collapse on Monday. I forwarded your messages to our transport and to the police, but nothing happened. So just before seven in the morning I went to the place to photograph and solve the collapse. Unfortunately, there was already an accident, completely useless. If the people in charge at City Hall were doing their job, it didn’t have to happen. I immediately contacted the square directly for transport Adam Scheinherr behind Prague to Me, because I no longer know the higher batch in this matter. And here I must praise Adam, restore it immediately, and in a short time the operation of the traffic lights resumed. I seldom do it, but here I want to praise a colleague from the Prague City Council and that coalition of the horror of Mayor Hřiba. He deserves it. I wish it would be possible next time without the intervention of the highest. Immediately after resolving the intersection, I made a video for you about the last council. Please take that. It describes how the Pirates wanted to do a dirty deal with me about the Ice Sports Arena. You can find the link in the comments below. Then I went to the council of the capital city of Prague, where I go as a representative of the opposition. I was not surprised … We have been talking here for months about the need to support gastronomy and tourism in Prague. And what will the municipality do? The exact opposite The councilors agreed to start the process of increasing the accommodation fee by more than double, to the maximum possible limit of CZK 50 per day. I do not understand how such a councilor Hanka Třeštíková (Prague to herself) can agree with that. So we “helped” the tourism once again, just the truth.
To make matters worse, the rise in prices in Prague continues merrily. Responsible dog owners in the capital also pay extra. Today, the council also approved the abolition of the discount on the fee for chipped dogs, which has so far made up to CZK 350 per year. Jiří Dohnal – Mayor of Prague 11. He wanted CZK 650,000 from the budget reserve, where almost nothing would be left by the end of the year. So if there was an accident at school, whatever, it would be a problem to cover financially. I have nothing against the grill, it is very much used at the moment, but for God’s sake, why should we finance it now for the winter? The warranty will run unnecessarily in the winter, when no one will use it. The pirate mayor Dohnal also probably forgot that the first barbecue, which was made by our mayor Petr Jirava (YES), cost the city part practically nothing, because he got a sponsor for it then and paid VITANA. So why isn’t the pirate mayor Dohnal also trying to find a sponsor and wants to pay it from the budget reserve? Answer that. TuesdayOn Tuesday I had a great meeting with my media team over strategies for the next months. Thanks to the fact that I was recalled in Prague 11, I now have much more time and I want to analyze for the citizens from the opposition benches and show the people much more cases of the current government coalitions. In addition to Prague 11 and Prague, I would also like to apply to some other city parts, especially where the Pirates or Prague reign. Because what you write to me for your suggestions and complaints is really unbearable. I can’t do that alone or with the audit committee. In the afternoon we had the regional presidency of the YES movement, where we mainly dealt with the preparation for the regional assembly. Again after two years, we will elect a new leadership of Prague, which led the YES movement to elections in the municipality and city districts. I informed my colleagues that I intend to run for the position of chairman of the YES movement in Prague. I would like to unite YES in Prague and prepare it for the elections. Including a decent, honest campaign. I want the YES movement in Prague to put quality candidates for the local councils in a year and to negotiate as many coalitions as possible that will want to do something in Prague. It is necessary to end the anarchy of the Pirates and Prague to Himself, which now rules not only the municipality, but also cripples the operation of many parts of the city. Wednesday On Wednesday morning, as always, I commented on the current situation in housing. I am copying the article below.

Dear Praguers, although the new coalition has not yet reached its final form, the negotiating parties are already clear on what will need to change from the ground up. However, radical changes in legislation risk doing more harm than good as a result. And this is exactly what I am afraid of in the case of the announced changes to the Building Act. Perhaps the new subject of the dispute, but also a key point of the new legislation, is the creation of a system of building authorities at the regional level. Of course, the representatives of STAN are especially rebelling against him. The current form of the law allows local governments to have inconsistent interpretations of building regulations, thanks to which they can influence decisions on building permits. This not only creates room for corruption, but also increases the risk of uneven development within the regions. To all this, it has the delegated power to preserve regional authorities. In the event that the next coalition decides to repeal this point of the Building Act, it will be necessary for it to be completely reworked in many respects, which will also entail a further postponement of its effectiveness. According to the Association for Development and Architecture, this would have “huge economic consequences” that we certainly cannot afford. The fact that the opposition will be taken over by the government after the elections and vice versa is quite common and desirable for democracy. However, successfully addressing important societal issues, such as pension reform or housing affordability, requires continuity. If every incoming government sweeps the results of its predecessors off the table and starts coming up with a completely new solution, we will start lagging behind other countries not only in terms of speed of construction. please turn down the comments below the post. Then I had meetings with citizens and some officials at the municipality. I mainly dealt with the preparation for the control committee, where we have a lot of suggestions in November. In the evening I was in the Jaromír Soukup Arena on TV Barrandov. I discussed with my colleague Wolf from KDU-ČSL and Mr. Economist Kovanda the problem with rising energy prices, the next wave of coronavirus or the liquidation of affordable housing by the current coalition of Mayor Hřiby in Prague. If you did not see me, run from the record, you have the link in the comments. ThursdayThursday was a public holiday. Therefore, I wrote a short idea for the establishment of Czechoslovakia, which I shared with you. I think it’s important to remember some things these days. Read below ..
It has been exactly 103 years since the Czechs and Slovaks gained their coveted freedom and independence from Austria-Hungary. Today, we take it for granted that we talk in Czech every day at work, that we can also talk about anything out loud, and that we live in a free and democratic country. But if what had happened did not happen then, the sign behind me in the photo might have been in German, and the officials might have scolded me for asking something in my native language at the office. God forbid I complain about the Austrian monarchy and the emperor! That could have ended badly. Therefore, I would like to remind myself of all this on today’s occasion. The fact that we have our own state is far from a matter of course. It’s a huge privilege. There are dozens or perhaps hundreds of nations around the world that are not so lucky, even though they may want to. At the same time, I would like to express my great thanks to all those who fought for the Czech and Slovak nations and our national awareness. And even long before Czechoslovakia was founded. overly leading people and intellectuals in our country during the 19th century rehearsed their fellow citizens and reminded that we were not forever committed to the domination of force majeure and oppression, that if we did not give up, we could not play. I think it’s good to do the same today. Sic we are part of larger international organizations, we are still a free state and a hard-working and hard-working nation that must not be intimidated or uncertain. Czechs (but also Slovaks) have so much success at the end that we can be really proud and confident. Let’s remember that. Let us not give up, let us believe and also be grateful and give up the legacy of our ancestors. How do you view it? Do you celebrate the Feast of the Establishment of Czechoslovakia in any special way? I will be happy if you share your views in the comments. Friday I took time off, but of course I didn’t miss the preparation for the next week. What surprised me unpleasantly again, I simply stop working in Prague 11 after my appeal. Colleagues processed 4 prints for the last meeting. There are 5 of them for what will be tomorrow! In the whole 3 years that I was at the town hall, it did not happen that only I submitted such few materials for myself. Not to mention all the councilors together. There are still 7 of them and they obviously stop working. I am already looking forward to the council, where I will ask the councilors about the progress in the ongoing projects. I’m just afraid that the answers won’t be very favorable for the citizens of Prague 11. However, also notice how they (do not) communicate on the Internet. In the meantime, as I keep you informed about what is happening in the South Town and in Prague, you will notice the rest of the others that photos are being taken or wreaths are being laid somewhere. I’m sad about where the South City is going. But on the other hand, the elections will be here in less than a year and it will be possible to change everything there. That’s it! That was the end of them again. Don’t miss the links I’m copying below the article below, or I’ll be happy to continue reading my posts. Have a nice day and prosper.
