Gamesweek turns Zurich into a playground
Gamesweek Zurich will take place from November 8th to 14th, 2021. The new game festival offers, among other things, “workshops, pinball box exhibitions, heart-shaped cookies and potions made from organic juice,” as the organizer of the Swiss Game Developers Association (SGDA) reports. The 8th Swiss Game Awards will also be presented during the event. The aim of the event is to present the breadth of the gaming landscape in Zurich and to shape it sustainably.
The festival is carried out city-wide and decentrally and takes place on a small scale at the respective locations in accordance with corona, as it is called. It is also possible to register digital, hybrid and analog events on an ongoing basis, insofar as this interest of the audience is met.
The festival is currently working with the city of Zurich, Amazon Web Services (AWS), the ETH Game Technology Center, Hiltl and the juice shop in Niederdorf. In addition, it runs parallel to events that have games in their program, such as the ZHdK refresh and the National Future Day on November 11, writes the SGDA.
