The Circus of Vienna restarts: before the show tamers slightly injured to divide two arguing tigers
The top of the Circus of Vienna has returned to light up after a year of hiatus caused by the pandemic. A “first”, that of Saturday evening, anxiously awaited and sacrifice. Many sacrifices sustained by the circus family, without proceeds for over a year and a half and with the holding of their own to give sustenance to their animals.
The emotion of the return was amplified by the accident that took place in the afternoon, when i two tamers, Giordano and his son Jeson are playing with theirs like every day tigers (the Vienna Circus does not have lions). To tell what happened at the end of the show in which they participated, are the same Giordano and Jeson: “Two tigers are in heat and have started to fight. We care about our animals and we tried to divide them to prevent them from getting injured: we ended up biting each other in the calf. To be safe, we got medicated in the emergency room, but it wasn’t anything serious, so much so that we participated in the show, even if a few minutes late and a bit limping ”.
For Jeson the regret of not having been able to do his acrobatic numbers due to the delay, for his father Giordano the surprise of this little accident: “In thirty years of activity he has never taken a scratch from my tigers. Just think that I direct them only with my hands, without any tools or whips ”.
Thunderous applause from the audience. The Circus of Vienna in recent months has been practically supplied by many Sienese who have also reached the tent to bring aid to the circus performers. And they have repaid them with such courtesy and with visits to the animals, the five tigers, one of which is white, the three camels, the bison and the horse.
A solid and united family that of the Circus of Vienna, able to roll up their sleeves in times of difficulty. Jeson, the star of the circus, got a job as an ecological operator but all the other members of the family also got busy with jobs of all kinds. And most of their earnings were spent primarily on ensuring excellent living conditions and veterinary care for their animals.
