Hurray, it’s time to chop the cabbage!

We take the child to a useful and exciting activity.

Each of us has heard at least once the phrase that children are found in cabbage. But none of the parents will be able to explain why in this particular vegetable: not in turnips, but in cabbage. But, perhaps, your grandmothers still remember “cabbage gatherings”, and someone, perhaps, will remember folk songs about cabbage. And the honor of such a dish as sauerkraut has not gone anywhere in Russia. So why does cabbage take up so much place in Russian culture?

The answer to this question and suggests to find the museum-reserve “Kuznetsk Fortress” at the informative and entertaining lesson “Cabbage gatherings” for students in grades 1-4.

The program includes a story about the traditions of harvesting cabbage for the winter. In addition, the guys themselves will try to chop cabbage in the old fashioned way and play folk games.

The lesson takes place in the building of the chief officer’s house by appointment by phone (384-3) 36-00-92.

The Moscow theater of classical ballet

The symbol of Russian art

We are watching one of the best ballets in the world in the most popular production.

The Moscow theater of classical ballet “Stars of Moscow” invites residents of Novokuzne and guests of the city to one of the most popular ballets in the world – “Swan Lake”. This ballet has many options and plot options, but audiences in Novokuznetsk will see a classic production by Marius Petipa.

The ballet is based on a story about the ideal and unattainable love of a prince for an enchanted beauty in the form of a swan. On the way to happiness, obstacles and trials await them, which they must overcome. Swan Lake is a light, romantic, beautiful and harmonious performance. Highly artistic scenery complements the picture created by the illusion of being in a medieval castle, then transferring the viewer to the shores of a fabulous lake. You need to see the famous dance of white swans with your own eyes in order to believe even for a moment in magic and eternal love.

We add that the Moscow State Ballet is full-length ballets, equipped with colorful decorations and costumes that most fully convey the spirit of a particular era. The theater, whose priority is to preserve the best traditions of the national school of classical ballet, also works with modern multimedia technologies: video projections are actively used in new performances. And this is one of the reasons why the theater, despite its “young age”, has already managed to win the love of audiences in Russia and abroad.
