Man under the influence and without a driver’s license with an uninsured car | Antwerp
AntwerpPolice arrested a driver on Wednesday under the influence of drugs. The man had cannabis in his uninsured car and does not have a driver’s license. Stolen clothing was also found at his home.
A patrol of the neighborhood team checked a car with Dutch number plates on the Fruithoflaan on Wednesday evening. “The inspectors were approached by the pungent smell of cannabis. The driver initially gave police a false name. He does not fully protect that for long, because his passport was in the car,” it sounds at the Antwerp police zone.
The suspect turned out to be illegally staying in our country and was already announced for selling drugs. In his car, the police found several SIM cards and some sales quantities of cannabis. In addition, the man’s car was not insured. “The authority also did not have a driver’s license, which was, after all, confiscated by an illegal wrongdoer. More so, he was ordered to be banned from driving. As icing on the cake, the man was driving under the influence of drugs.”
Stolen clothes
The car was impounded. The police also conducted a house search in which stolen clothing from a store was found. The burglary equipment was also seized. After questioning, the suspect was allowed by the magistrate permit.
