The funfair is back in Monaco this Friday: here are the conditions
The Attractions Fair will be held from October 22 to November 19, with specific health restrictions for this 2021 edition.
It’s an event that delights young people (and not so young) every year: the Fair Attractions is back! Techno Power, Jumping Frog, Aladin or even Astrojet are some of the rides where you can laugh and have fun. For those with a sweet tooth, the waffle, pancake and candy apple sales stands will of course be there.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, special measures have been taken by the government for the return of the Fair, which had not taken place since 2019. The health pass will be required for over 16s and the wearing of a mask compulsory for children over 5 years old.
Catering areas and attendance gauge
Gone are the days of walking around with a waffle in hand: the consumption of food or drinks is now prohibited outside of restaurant areas. You will therefore have to sit down in the areas provided on the Quai Albert Ier. La Darse Sud will be devoted to attractions and rides, without any food trade.
Regarding the access points to the Fair Attractions, there will be seven: five on the Quai Albert Ier and two at the Darse Sud. Please note, a gauge is defined at 1 person for 4 meters and carpets will count in real time the number of people entering. If the gauge is reached, access to the Fair will be temporarily suspended. You can find out about the attendance on the town hall website.
