In practice, this works in such a way that if the drivers have not paid for parking in the blue zone and a car with cameras detects them, the city police obtains this information, generates an offense and sends it to the relevant Prague office.
Officials then, for example, identify in the fine processing program whether it is a legal entity or a natural person. “We have to click through all the information correctly, and that can take a long time. And there can basically be some errors. Which makes the robot a little easier, because it will go through it all on its own in a much shorter time, ”explains the Prague official3.
If the robotic program does not encounter a snag – during testing, for example, he did not know the advice of the diplomatic registration mark – he will send a letter with support to pay. “It’s no longer the case that an official prints a letter, takes an envelope, writes it or has something printed on it, put the letter in there and sent it. All this is basically done by the data service, that it takes: where it is to be sent and what is to be sent, it is sent to the post office, so it is printed, it assigns the envelope correctly, it packs itself and sends it today, “Councilor Pavel Dobeš (STAN).

The program has undergone pilot testing and, according to Councilor Dobeš, has proved its worth. On average, the robot needed 56 seconds for one task, it can replace up to 9 officials. Its advantage is also that it can work at night, on weekends and at the same time can generate statistics with which the town hall can continue to work.
