It is the start-up that goes up to Toulouse. Tuesday 19 October 2021, Aura Aero a strategic partnership announced with Amedeo. This Irish company, which invests heavily in aircraft leasing, has also signed a letter of intent for the purchase of 200 electric aircraft.

For several years, Aura Aéro has been working on its project called TIME to pay ” Electric regional aircraft“.
This 19-seater electrically powered regional aircraft (with the possibility of carrying freight) must make it possible to end CO2 emissions on flights of less than 400 kilometers and to reduce them by 80 to 64% on longer journeys.
Commissioning expected for 2026
“Amedeo is delighted to have signed a letter of intent for 200 copies of ERA, which will help commercial aviation move closer to its zero-emission target by 2025,” said Gabriella Lapidus, Commercial director of Amédée.

The commissioning of this electric aircraft is scheduled for 2026. In the meantime, the aircraft manufacturer is leading the certification campaign for its aerobatic-capable training aircraft. “It will be available in an electric version in 2022, which will make it the aircraft of choice for flight schools and initial or advanced military programs,” Aura Aero concludes.
