Monday, October 18, 2021, a new book on the history of our city will come out. This is a book dedicated to the history of the former Saint-Michel prison.
In 271 pages, this book edited by the Saint-Michel neighborhood committee evokes 150 years of history of this building in pictures.

“We unveil the Saint-Michel prison, which has evolved over its 150 years of existence, through the eyes of several generations of photographers. Until this heritage is rehabilitated and open to all, ”explains the Neighborhood Committee.

Monday, October 18, the day of the book’s release, several authors and photographers are organizing a meeting with the public to present their work and sell the book which interests heritage enthusiasts.
This meeting takes place at 6.30 p.m. at the Salle Saint-Michel (18 grande rue Saint-Michel in Toulouse – former chapel at the corner of grande rue Saint-Michel and rue Saint-Denis, entrance on the rue Saint-Denis side, editor’s note).
