If Rouen starts the game well by gaining the upper hand over its evening visitor, the first shot on target coming from Rouen with Caron; the latter, however, remain below what they were able to show against the champions faced recently.
Surely the backlash of all the adrenaline put in during the two CHL matches! The Dragons will even be at fault twice during this first third, which will force them to undergo the attacks of the Pioneers who however lack precision in their attacks, leaving Pintaric little solicited.

Not yet in their match, the Dragons show more largesse in their passes, too long and too legible, which leads to cons of the Pioneers, like the example of Kazarine, whose ice-breaking shot is pushed back from the boot by Pintaric, or Salonen directing a cage moved by, which makes it possible to calm things down. Shortly after Terrier or Bejmo will also find the mitten of the Norman cerberus on their way.
Rouen was not to be outdone, however, the zs using the same video for the last invalidating a goal in a scrum with Bedin, Tessier and Johnson who heat the powder (15 ‘). Only Gilbert very prominent at the start of the match and Guttig will manage to carry the danger on the cage, without however managing to adjust their shot. The return to parity does not change the situation of a Rouen team which carries the danger more and more on the cage of the Haut Savoyard cerberus, who is doing everything to keep his team in the match on this yellow and black moment.
A shot from Convert, however, forces Pintaric to be vigilant and freeze the paddle of his paddle on the rebound that follows the shot of the blue. Rouen continued his siege with 91 and Flood on the maneuver, pushing Sabol to make rescue stops.
But everything has an end, and finally by dint of shooting at the cage, the scoreboard lights up in favor of the Normans. For that, it took an initial shot from Guimond twice to deflect Sabol (27.21 / 1 – 0 / Caron ass Tessier Guimond).

Rouen feels himself growing wings, carried in this by a boiling hot public who want to see corn, but the flight is stopped by the patrol on a “suspended”. The Pioneers settle in the Rouennais camp, a bar even comes to save a shot on Pintaric’s cage. Nervousness is a shame for visitors who are in turn fined by the patrol,
On one side or the other, the power plays fail to tell the difference, and It’s back to parity, on a fast counter initiated by Yeo that Johnston recovers with the end of the stick on the right circle side, the puck and mystifies Sabol before his defense can intervene (36.15 / 2-0 / Johnston ass Yeo Cantagallo ).

In the process and on the same presence (on the ice) Johnston will once again shine in less than two minutes.
On a new attack, solo after recovering a pass from a teammate, he leaves the opposing defense behind to win his duel against Sabol who can only see the damage (38.51 / 3-0 / Johnston ass Vigners)

This time, the return to the Dragons’ locker room was more convincing with three goals in ten minutes. Although once again determined to keep his team in the match, Sabol could not keep his but inviolate, the Normans have this time, been able to show themselves more efficient in their attacks.

Once again quickly sanctioned, the Pioneers will have to rely on the reflexes of their goalkeeper, who twice will prevent Tessier and then Guilbert from finding their way to the goal. The latter shows all his talent by even making the “wiper” on his line of corn in the face of close shots from Guttig and Gilbert who already saw (wrongly) the nets tremble.

Masson on the Chamoniard side rings for the 2^e Tonight the helm of Pintaric, lucky on this one, will have had a relatively easy evening, remaining little in demand by an opposing team which is struggling to find solutions to pass the Norman defense.
It is true that four times the latter find themselves inferior to the dragons, which gives Sabol a lot of work.
With barely ten minutes left to play, the 6^e sanction whistled against the Pioneers will finally allow the Norman special units to score. Thanks to a possession in the defensive zone, where the puck goes from lacrosse to lacrosse to put the defense to sleep.
Gilbert, finally rewarded for his efforts, unleashes a quick reflex shot which surprises both Sabol and his defense (52.59 / 4-0 / Gilbert ass Guimond Guttig). .

The cerberus will be put to contribution one last time with a superb mitten facing Yeo who was attempting a skylight.
