World Cup Qualifiers: With a new coach in Kosovo against Greece
The Kosovo you will visit Greece in its last match (14/11) qualifying phase of the 2022 World Cup, without the Swiss coach, Bernard Salad, who was fired today. The cause is the recent defeats by Sweden and Georgia. “Following the line of our goals, we have decided to end the cooperation with the coach,” said the president of the Kosovo Football Federation, Agim Antemi.
Yesterday Kosovo lost 2-1 at home to Georgia and is now last in the 2nd qualifying group, with 4 points after 7 games. The 70-year-old coach had arrived on the bench of the Kosovo national team on March 2, 2018.
