The Metropolis is committed to local, sustainable and quality food

The call for projects “Nourishing Metropolis” aims to support the promoters of projects of shared gardens and nourishing spaces, in accordance with the objectives of its Territorial Food Project (PAT) launched in 2019, in particular the development of self-production of food products. of quality, accessible to all, with a view to contributing to the food resilience of the territory through the mobilization of citizens and environmental education.
The Metropole Nourricière call for projects was launched by the Metropolis in July 2021 and ended for its first phase on September 8. A future phase should open in spring 2022. 42 applications have been submitted and 33 laureates have been designated. 27 of them will be able to benefit from an investment aid grant for the creation or development of nurturing spaces (shared gardens, orchards, edible forests) for a maximum total aid amount of € 157,000.
