For years, she did not look home from Canada due to the coronavirus pandemic. Now Martina Adamcová, who became famous for her role as Sergeant Babinčáková in the film Tank Battalion, has arrived in the Czech Republic for two weeks and even introduced her adult son to us.
“It’s such a strange thing, because I arrived in Prague and he has been living in Korea for several years. And he called me to come to me,” she confided. Frederic Gariepy moved to Korea to study Eastern languages. Surprisingly, however, he broke through in a completely different field.
“He left with completely different plans, because he also studied philosophy, but in the end he follows in my footsteps. They cast him in series and commercials as actors. She successfully started there as a filmmaker and plays mostly Americans, because she speaks perfect English and at the same time Korean. And I’m watching him on Netflix, “she revealed, among other things, in our interview. ■
