Mitski will bring his new album, Low Island will also play in Prague
Before we get to the newly announced concerts, we would like to draw attention to the changes that have taken place at other events. Elderbrook has moved his tour to spring and will perform in Prague on May 1, 2022 at MeetFactory. David Keenan’s concert (originally November 1, 2021) was canceled. And now for more pleasant things. Composer, musician and incredible performer Mitski has five full-length albums. The latest “Be the Cowboy” (2018) was named Album of the Year by media such as Pitchfork, Vulture, Consequence, Esquire and Flood. Other influential media such as the NPR and The New York Times were among the best that came out at the time. He will perform in Prague on May 18, 2022, and tickets to Rock CafĂ© will be available from October 8, 2021. Within a year, the cult musician became an independent first-class star with a New Yorker profile and appearances on leading television talk shows (Jimmy Kimmel, Stephen Colbert). For 2022, Mitski plans big things, including returns to tour, which will not miss the Czech Republic either. Her new single “Working for the Knife” marks a new analysis, as we have never heard from Mitski. Low Island is experiencing a successful year. “If You Could Have It All Again”, the debut of this four from Oxford, is good with critics and charts. The record was released on their own label Emotional Interference and, according to the band, they deal with broken hearts and cyclical internal conflicts, while looking good at what the next ten years will bring. They will play in Prague on February 25, 2022, the concert will take place as part of the UpTONE series with free admission. Well-known radio host Zane Lowe described the band as incredible, full of soul and intellectually creative. They have them in their playlists on the Australian radio station Double J and NPR. Their fans include members of the Glass Animals group.
