October 5 strike in Toulouse: what helps you at school and in transport

The first national strike since the start of September will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021. Across France, 160 rallies will be organized.

That of Toulouse must start at 10:30 am since Arnaud-Bernard.

This strike is called by the CGT, FO, FSU and Solidaires unions and youth organizations FIDL, MNL, UNEF and UNL. They are asking for wage increases, the abandonment of pension reform and unemployment insurance …

On the train network

After Monday’s strike, specific to Tisséo, Toulouse’s public transport network will be again disturbed this Tuesday.

In schools

Education is one of the sectors that could be impacted by this national and inter-professional day of action. The two majority unions, the SNUipp-FSU (nursery and primary schools) and the SNES-FSU (middle and high schools) are provoking this initiative.

In nursery and primary schools, teachers must declare their intention to strike two working days beforehand. In theory, the parents of the students must have been warned at the end of last week. On the other hand, their secondary school colleagues are not subject to this obligation and can declare strikers the same day.

At Toulouse airport

For the moment, no cancellations have been announced by the airport.
