Chanel, a 12-year-old teenager, a 5th year student at Pierre Cuallaci college in Frévent in the Pas-de-Calais, committed suicide Thursday, September 30 at home, after telling her family to be the victim of harassment, France reported on Monday North Blue.
The rectorate of the Lille academy has set up a listening unit in his establishment the day after the schoolgirl’s suicide. It is open to all students, parents and staff of the establishment.
Lindsay, Chanel’s big sister whom France Bleu was able to reach, wants the teenager’s death to raise awareness on this issue of harassment: “It is not possible to let children suffer like this.”
“School is made to learn, to grow and not to suffer”.

For her, it is necessary “that schools become aware of the danger, because my little sister lost her life, that’s not nothing!”, she continued.
On Wednesday October 6, Chanel’s family organized a rally in front of her college at 10 a.m. to pay tribute to her. A kitty has been put online to help the Chanel family.
