Military police officers used a scanner to check the chassis of vehicles for illegal goods or illegal migrants. Service dog Stuart helped with the search for tobacco products from customs officers. Traffic police used the scales to find out whether the trucks did not exceed the weight specified by law.
Given the current situation regarding illegal migration, police officers will continue to do so, police spokesmen added.
