Orbán’s government appeals to version: electronic version of the Foreign Ministry on the conflict between Hungary and Ukraine – news on UNN
KIEV. September 30. UNN. Hungary wants to block talks on Ukraine’s accession to NATO in response to Kyiv’s criticism of the gas deal signed by Budapest and Moscow the day before. The document provides for the supply of Russian gas to Hungary by a long route bypassing Ukraine. This was announced during a briefing by the head of the administration of the Prime Minister of Hungary Gergej Gulias. Former Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Kostiantyn Hryshchenko told UNNthan to end the conflict between the two countries.
Quote
“It is not just a matter of declaring that Hungary, and of being unprepared to talk about the real possibilities of our full membership in the Alliance and the major players, considering these issues. Therefore, this statement is more “hype” below the real obstacle of our state to join NATO, although it is many other years. Such statements are made to create a Ukrainian society. In general, the Orbán regime (Ed.: Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán) behaves in a way that normal states and governments do not invite to behave. That is why it is necessary to make receipts, ”Gryshchenko said.
Details
According to the express administration, Hungary manages gas in accordance with mercantile interests.
“Besides, only Hungary and Germany itself think about reliability and more favorable conditions for gas installation. Here, Russia has given a greater reduction or more unfavorable conditions for gas production if it refuses to cross Ukraine. In general, Hungary found more in friendship with Russia and certainly not in friendship with Ukraine, so it was a natural step. Neither the statement of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry nor the statement of Hungary change anything, such relations have existed for several years. I do not think there will be new conflicts. They are not intended for certification in Ukraine. Their task is to distribute as many passports as possible. And the state needs to do something about it, ”Gryshchenko explains.
