“We feel the lack due to Covid. And it is a particularly rich and varied season that we are going to offer! “. Isabelle Jeulin, director of the Comédie de Toulouse (which includes the large hall and the Small Comedy, room of 55 places), has developed a prolific season in the temple of the Knights of Fiel.
First with comedians that we no longer present as Didier Super (October 14, 2021), Sellig (October 26), Patrick bosso (November 19, 2021), Francois-Xavier Demaison (December 3, 2021), Mathieu Madénien (January 21, 2021), Elisabeth Buffet (February 10, 2021).
The new wave
Then with a new wave that the Toulouse public will undoubtedly discover. Like the YouTuber Jojo Bernard, November 27, 2021. “He plays the character of the big football fan and it is the symbol of these artists who are revealed thanks to the web”, specifies Isabelle Jeulin.
Angélique is “crazy about Stade Toulousain”
The Toulousains will obviously have their (good) say this season with the upcoming performances of Romain simancas (October 2, 2021), as well as plays written by Eric Carrière.
We will be entitled to “Toulouse, I’m staying there”, Following “Toulouse, I love it” (October 2, 2021) as well as “Mad about Stade Toulousain” (several dates in October, November and until the end of the year), a comedy in red and black with Angélique Panchéri, a staple of the Comedy scene.
Regulars at the Citron Bleu café-theater in Les Carmes know Benjy Dotti. The latter will be at the Comédie on December 18, 2021 with his “Late comic show”.
Finally, let us also note the musical humor of “Love 50” and a nod to those who experienced the glorious “Top 50” era in the 1980s. See you on October 29, 2021.
For fans of improv
Improv enthusiasts will find themselves there with improv lessons, for those who want to learn, and shows dedicated to this particular art. Example with “73 minutes ” by Cédric Asna and François Aymard (September 29, 2021) and “Improv trio” (October 20, 2021).
Objective: target young audiences
The director of the premises also wanted to explore the young audience component. “A project that is close to my heart,” she says. First dates December 21 and 22, 2021 with ” The wolf came back ” and “ The puss in boots “. “The idea, ultimately, is to set up a Toulouse troupe dedicated to young audiences, with local actors,” concludes Isabelle Jeulin.
