The first six Batopin cash points were installed in Anderlecht, Ghent, Lierneux, Stavelot, Nimy and Clavier. This new treasury network will be rolled out gradually over several years and will be fully completed by the end of 2024.

Batopin was created in March 2020 at the initiative of the four big Belfius banks, BNP Paribas Fortis, ING and KBC. In the years to come, they will jointly develop a network of neutral ATMs, independent of their own bank branches. Batopin will take over the management of these distributors and will distribute neutral “cash points” throughout the country. The distributors specific to each of the four big banks will, for their part, be removed by the end of 2024, it is specified.
