Looking for work in another sector?
We’re going back to normal a bit, but that’s not true for everyone. Many Amsterdammers still work to lose their jobs or have lost their jobs. They can turn to the regional mobility team for personal help in their search for other work.
Are you considering a switch to another sector? It could be anything. From mechanic to patient transporter. From travel guide to home care worker. From taxi driver to employee at a gas station. Everyone is needed in the labor market.
Learning in practice
The most important thing is that people can build their future again. They should know well work is available, and receive help and guidance, including when applying for a job. They also receive coaching, training and the opportunity to learn in practice.
good luck
In our region we notice how well the regional mobility team is catching on. Hundreds of people have already been helped to find a new job. Employers, education, UWV, training companies, trade unions and municipalities work closely together to prevent people from being sidelined. This also applies to people who have a greater distance from the labor market. Due to the success, regional mobility teams are now set to work across the country, 35 in total.
