Luxury hotel, apartment benefits. Orea has launched a new concept in the center of Prague
The luxury hotel with the background and flexibility of the home environment connected the new concept of the Orea Hotels & Resorts group, the widest hotel chain in the Czech Republic. It offers serviced apartments for long stays and the first thirty-two opened a group in the center of Prague called Orea Place Seno.
Hay is where the Fat Koala was. The Orea apartments are located on the site of the former distinctive restaurant in Senovážné Street, which ended the year before last.
“We build the concept on the innovations we worked on during the covid. Once we incorporate all the technology, we will allow guests to do most of the tasks digitally. There will be online check-in, check-out and a digital key for each apartment, “says Gorjan Lazarov, director of the hotel network.
The self-sufficiency and independence of the guests is complemented by hotel services such as reception, regular breakfast or housekeeping. There is also a private wellness area with sauna and hot tub.
The offer ranges from one-room studios to three-room apartments, while the interiors are designed in different designs. “We want to cover the diverse needs of our clients. Different stays of species require different environments, such as modern, Scandinavian or luxurious style, “describes Lazarov.
According to the head of the hotel chain, this is a response to long-term demand for quality short- and medium-term forms of accommodation, which offers a high standard hotel but provides all the advantages of apartments, such as kitchen with dining room, spacious living rooms and parking spaces.
“The Orea Place clientele consists mainly of tourists with more demanding needs and also people who have come for business stays. The apartments are especially advantageous for long-term stays, ”adds Lazarov.
The plan is to open the same type of accommodation in other locations, such as Mariánské Lázně, where the company has five of its sixteen classic hotels. It was in “Mariánky” that the Orea hotel network had investment plans in the amount of two billion crowns – but that was before the outbreak of the pandemic.
“Unfortunately, the situation has practically frozen the financing of hotel projects on the local market,” laments Lazarov. “We have a building permit for the construction of a new hotel, we are negotiating with partners and we are currently looking for a financing model to implement the project. We are also taking steps, the direction should be other interesting projects in Prague. “
