Maneuvers in Prague. A crowd of police and hygienists checked the music clubs
A column of about twenty police cars appeared in the center of Prague on the night of Friday to Saturday. The hygienists were accompanied by police officers, outside the foreign police it was, for example, the Special Law Enforcement Unit.
Police checked several major music clubs. Among them were, for example, the Fashion Club in the Kotva Shopping Center building and the Vagon Club on Národní třída.
According to the tn.cz server, the police handed out several fines in the amount of CZK 500, for example, because people only proved that they were vaccinated with one dose of the vaccine.
Experts have long pointed out that the most infected are recently among people between the ages of 16 and 29, who are poorly vaccinated and have a lot of social contacts.
“As shown by epidemiological investigations carried out by Prague hygienists, the club’s newly positively tested cases of an infection in a night music club,” the hygiene station said this week.
Based on the testimony of positively tested people, the night hygienists found out that they probably became infected in one of Prague’s music clubs, whose name they did not mention. “This particular club has already mentioned 28 young people since the end of June. Another 31 people who tested positive mentioned staying in some of Prague’s other nightclubs as a possible source of their infection,” the hygienists found out.
A year ago, the spread of the disease in the Vinohrady club Techtle Mechtle, with which hygienists connected more than 160 cases in several regions, attracted attention.
During an inspection of one of the clubs last Thursday, the hygienists warned the operators, for example, about improperly placed seats and tables. “Of the guests present, one person who paid a block fine on the spot for this offense did not have a currently valid test result,” they added.
At the hygienists’ control events, he assists a policy that also carries out some events independently. “We have several events planned in cooperation with the regional hygiene station in the capital city of Prague this weekend. We will focus mainly on selected night clubs where the rules need to be followed: prove negativity, there should be no more people in the company than seats, there is a prescribed distance between musicians and customers and dancing is forbidden, “Deputy Police Chief Martin Vondrášek told Radiožurnál this week.
Music production is already allowed in clubs or discos, but it is also forbidden to dance in these facilities. According to hygienists, dance is a type of physical activity where coronavirus spreads very easily with a relatively large number of people in one place.
To prove infectivity, a negative test for covid, proof of vaccination or past illness in the last six months is required. People from the age of 12 can now be vaccinated in the Czech Republic.
