There is a car park from the South Junction. Do not go to Prague, police recommend it to drivers
The police published aerial footage from the Southern Link, where a long “caterpillar” of cars and trucks was (mainly) in the Štěrbohol area in the direction of the D11 motorway. On the busy road, which is part of the inner Prague City Ring Road, the road is narrowed into two lanes. The municipality performs advertising repairs here.

“Due to this, long columns of several kilometers form the D1 motorway in the direction of Prague, there are also major complications in Spořilovská Street and in the entrance to the South Junction in the direction of Prague 9,” said police spokeswoman Hana Křížová. “We recommend drivers who do not necessarily need to go directly to Prague to completely avoid the passage of the metropolis and use the road in the wider Prague area in the Central Bohemian Region,” she added.
The municipal company Technická komunikace (TSK) did not complete the surface change at the Štěrboholská spojka until the first weekend in July. In addition, the exit and ramp from the South Junction on Michelská and Vídeňská Streets has been closed since last Wednesday due to the reconstruction of the Michelská and Budějovická intersections. The construction for TSK is carried out by Eurovia. There are also restrictions in the Garden City area.
Many Praguers complain that the metropolis is once again “everywhere dug up”. The city company argues that without repairs, the situation would be even worse. On the other hand, part of the population lacks the coordination of individual events promised by the coalition of Pirates, Prague and the United Forces (TOP 09, STAN, KDU-ČSL) after joining the municipality after the government of the YES movement led by former Adriana Krnáčová.
