The Prague Decadent exhibition helps the history of eroticism and the Dancing House reveals technology
The exhibition entitled Decadent Prague also includes the first erotic aids made in Czechoslovakia, a separate chapter of the exhibition is the life of sexual minorities in our country from Austria-Hungary to the Velvet Revolution. The exhibition also includes an exhibition of period women’s underwear through a cross-section of the entire 20th century. The exhibition will run until March 31, 2022.
The exhibition is open from the age of 15, or for younger visitors; the organizers do not want a decision from their parents or legal guardians.
The purchased ticket allows a one-time entry to the construction for the entire duration.
The dancing house celebrates 25 years and reveals technology
On Sunday, June 20, the Dancing House celebrates 25 years since its opening. Over a quarter of a century, it has become one of the most sought-after architectural gems in Prague, welcoming over three million visitors, is one of the most photographed places in the country and has won many awards for its design.
For this anniversary, a new technical circuit is being opened, which visitors take through the inaccessible facilities of the building. At the same time, after 25 days, the Dancing House will be illuminated in green.
Therefore, it is now possible to enter the Prague exhibition with the decadent edge Technical Circuit of the Dancing House and its inaccessible spaces.
However, tickets for the Technical Circuit are not freely available and can only be purchased in the basket when buying tickets for the exhibition.
The technical circuit will give visitors an insight into the air conditioning system or the heating system of the house. The tour has a total of five parts and begins with machines on the second underground floor and ends on the roof. A new terrace with unusual browsers of Prague Castle and a view of the apartment where Václav Havel lived will also be open to the public.
Tickets for the technical circuit of the Dancing House are available from 18.6. to 3.10.2021.
