The Apple Store in Prague is still in play. Apple requires the establishment of additional stores – Jablíčkář.cz
At one time, the Apple Store in Prague was undoubtedly the most discussed topic among Czech apple makers. Specifically, at the World Economic Recommendation in Davos, Tim Cook met with our Prime Minister, Andrej Babiš, when their discussion included the establishment of a Prague store. Gradually, however, the situation completely subsided. But hope dies last. According to the latest reports from Bloomberg Apple plans to expand its network of stores.
Despite the fact that the world is moving more and more into the online environment, where today you can keep completely from A to Z, Apple plans to open more retail stores. So far, it operates 511 worldwide, more than 100 of them in Europe. But we must point out one thing. Apple’s vice president of retail, Deirdre O’Brien, confirmed the expansion plan, but unfortunately did not specify which countries they could look forward to or where the new Apple Story would “grow up.” According to most information, Europe should be the main focus anyway.
So does the report we informed you about at the beginning of May suggest anything? The Apple Store building appeared on the visualization of Prague’s Masaryk Square from the investment company Penta Investments. Subsequently, with our colleagues from Letem svět Applem, you can get an exclusive statement directly from Penta, which you can read in this article. So nothing is lost yet. But at the moment we have nothing left but to wait. In any case, the arrival of the Prague Apple Store would bring a number of benefits. Firstly, we could look at all the products sold, and quite possibly the AppleCare + service would also come.
