YES in Prague decided on the candidate, the leader is MP Nacher
The management of the Prague ANO decided on Wednesday evening on the form of candidates for the parliamentary elections.
In the end, 55 of the eighty delegates in the parliament confirmed that the current MP, Patrik Nacher, will become the leader in the capital.
In other places behind him are two other deputies – Věra Adámková and Robert Králíček. According to this proposal, Helena Válková is only ninth, in addition to sitting for YES in the Chamber of Deputies, she is also the government’s representative for human rights.
The proposed candidate did not like current MP Petr Venhod, for example. He is only in twelfth place and said in the parliament that he spoke about its form on Wednesday with the prime minister and head of the movement, Andrej Babiš.
“He was very surprised why the regional presidency refused to put all successful positions in the top positions,” Venhoda said.
He also criticized that the candidate was not selected transparently, he composed – as he added – a small group of people. He also pointed out that in addition to Nacher, Milan Wenzl is also in the forefront. Both are not members of YES.
The head of ANO in Prague, Jan Říčař, responded by saying that when compiling candidates, they looked at how successful the candidates were in the Chamber of Deputies, what laws they proposed or what their contribution was to Prague’s municipal policy.
During the vote, for example, YES delegates from Prague 1, Prague 3 or Prague 10 opposed or abstained.
After the nomination conference, the national committee of the YES movement may also intervene in the nomination for the parliamentary elections according to the statutes. He will probably decide on the final green candidate in June.
Prague is thus another region where names are known until the elections.
So far, it is known that Prime Minister Andrej Babiš should be the leader in Central Bohemia. The Karlovy Vary regional manager of ANO, Vojtěch Matoušek, then stated that the parliament had chosen former governor Jana Mračková Vildumetzová as the candidate leader.
The leader in the Olomouc Region is also clear, where the former Olomouc Governor Ladislav Okleštěk will defend the parliamentary mandate. Deputy Minister and Former Deputy Minister of Transport Milan Feranec is running for him.
The assembly has already taken place in the Zlín Region. The leader here will be the Speaker of the Chamber of Deputies Radek Vondráček.
In the South Bohemian Region, the Assembly is scheduled for May 30. The current Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Industry and Trade and Minister of Transport Karel Havlíček are nominated as the leader.
In the Vysočina region, the regional representative and member of the board of the Babiš movement, Martin Kukla, then became the leader. On the contrary, the head of ANO deputies, Jaroslav Faltýnek, did not get a candidate in this region at all, even though he was striving to become a leader.
