The longest section of the line from Prague to Kladno has a zoning decision. It is to be built next year

The Railway Administration has obtained an important permit for the modernization and electrification of the line from Prague to Kladno. The Kladno City Hall has so far issued an invalid zoning decision for the modification of the section from Prague-Ruzyně to Kladno.
The notice is published on official board. The fifteen-long section should start to be modernized next year for operation. “The documentation for the building permit is currently being processed. The precondition for the tender for the construction is at the turn of this year and next year. The construction work will therefore take place from 2022, “ said Administration spokeswoman Nela Frieb. The construction with a budget of 5.5 billion crowns will be one of the largest contracts of the Railway Administration in recent years. In addition to a complete reconstruction at a speed of up to 160 every hour and electrification, the entire section will also be double-tracked. Part of this event is not yet the modification of the station in Kladno.
Modernization during operation
All stations and stops will get new platforms, the Hostivice and Jeneč stations will be completely rebuilt. The Unhošť station will be canceled and will be replaced by the Malé Přítočno stop on the newly built transfer station. The Pavlov stop will be reconstructed, and the Hostivice-Jeneček and Pletený Újezd stops will be built. Rail crossings on the busiest roads will be abolished and replaced by level crossings of roads and railways. Other crossings will be modernized.
