According to Hřiba, an additional 200,000 people commute to the city during the daily peak.
The number of residents is increasing

It is crucial from all points of view – not only from the point of view of development and availability of housing, but also from the point of view of the city’s budget and all costs,” adds Petr Hlaváček (TOP 09), deputy for territorial development. According to the councilors, Prague’s budget does not take into account the fact that the city takes care of another city on its territory, which with its population is close to the size of Ostrava.
