Prague prepares facilities for homeless people regularly, but this year it has strengthened its capacity. Homeless people will have more options not only where to sleep, but also where they can survive the cold frosty days.
Prague is preparing a winter shelter for the homeless. Due to the coronavirus, there will be more, but with less capacity. Theme for Adam Bejšovec
“We added another dormitory, which we turned into a 24/7 hostel. So there will be two hostels for people in need of nursing care this winter. One new dormitory will be opened. The capacity of day care centers is also opening up and expanding, “Milena Johnová, a councilor for social affairs from the Prague Sobě group, told Radiožurnál.
According to Martin Šimáček, director of the Center for Social Services in Prague, which organizes winter measures, the capacity of individual facilities is decreasing, but their number has increased. This is to help prevent the spread of coronavirus, as fewer people will gather in one place. In total, there should be over 500 beds available in the city in winter.
For example, the facility in Vyšehrad is already in operation, where people who have been ordered for quarantine or have been diagnosed with coronavirus infection are transported by special car.

Kapacity nocleháren a dalších zařízení by měly stačit.
