There will be another demonstration against government measures in Prague. The organizers do not address the limitation of the number of participants Home
According to an overview of public gatherings website of the Prague City Hall A demonstration called the Manifestation for Freedom and Truth condemning terror and manipulation will take place from 11:55 to 15:00 next to the Old Customs House on Republic Square in Prague.
According to the organizers, the event will be a “peaceful gathering of citizens in order to commemorate the basic values of society as a whole”.
“Treatment should never have worse consequences than illness! We do not want to live for years in fear and insecurity! We must put politics back on track. We do not want further years in repression, chaos, threats and fear spread by current policies, “the organizers write in the annotations.

They do not intend to limit the number of protesters at the demonstration. “We will recommend the most sterile mouthpiece to the participants,” the main organizer David Tesař told the iDnes.cz portal.
“Take something to sit on, pillows, polystyrenes or foams, blankets, etc. In order to prevent provocateurs from violence, we will defend ourselves by sitting on the pavement, where the government is gradually sending us all,” the organizers call for 1088 people. They want to avoid the violent clash with the police, which occurred during Sunday’s demonstration in the Old Town Square.
After the official end, Sunday’s demonstration turned into a battle with the police, when some protesters from the ranks of football fans tried to break the police cordon and threw pyrotechnics at the police. Police officers detained 130 people, in 14 cases criminal investigators initiated criminal proceedings on suspicion of criminal offenses. According to an estimate by the Prague City Council, about 2,000 people protested, the number allowed was 500. Most of the participants did not have a veil.
The municipality, to which the planned public events in Prague are being announced, has no power to demonstrate the ban, even during an emergency. Officials may end it prematurely only after an assessment of the situation on the ground, for example due to non-compliance with hygiene measures, as was the case during Sunday’s demonstration in the Old Town Square.
