A new Levi’s Store was opened in Prague’s Na Příkopě Street, which is also the largest brand store in Central and Eastern Europe. It has an area of 660 square meters and offers more than just shopping in a successful interior. There are creative tailors, exclusive fabrics, installations on the walls and a fresco by Pasta Oner.
“The central point of the store is Levi’s Tailor Shop with creative tailors who customize or repair their favorite older or new Levi’s pieces. Of course, the adjustment of length or narrowing, but also personalization – such as patches, patches, embroidery, studs or the use of textile colors, bleaching, etc. For the opening, Levi’s Na Příkopě will offer exclusively Indigo Tie Dye fabrics produced in collaboration with the renowned design studio Blue Print Amsterdam. Natural indigo handmade and traditional batik fabric techniques, of which each piece is, can be found on the collar, cuffs and back of the iconic jeans, or the original as patches on jeans. In addition, Levi’s Print Bar is available in the store, where customers can design and print their own personalized T-shirts and sweatshirts in a few minutes, ”says the Czech representatives of the brand.
The whole interior, which extends to the two floors of the historic house, is tuned to the blue color combined with natural materials. The interior is further decorated with several interesting installations, which in themselves are worth seeing. “Internationally acclaimed Czech artist Pasta Oner has created an extensive fresco for the new store, which combines his individual style and advertising visuals from Levi’s archive with iconic Czech themes such as Václav Havel, the Prague skyline and retro Škoda 100. Pasta Oner also designed T-shirt prints exclusively for Levi’s Print Bar, “Levi’s representatives are attracted to visit the store.
Another interesting feature is the installation on the wall above the stairs, again in blue. The paintings created together with Blue Print Amsterdam are painted in natural indigo and bear Czech motifs, including the national flag. The street shop is also the only Příkopa Vintage collection in the Czech Republic, referring to traditional American work clothes and transferring the original cut, materials and details of vintage models to individual pieces.
