A crunchy guide to Prague. Where for the best bread from the craft bakery?
In quarantine, it seemed to bake the whole of the Czechia on social networks, but after returning to normal operation, we can return to the trend that prevailed in our country a few years ago: gourmet bread.
We have already written about the fact that it is a crunchy crust and a soft so-called “must have”. But due to the fact that artisanal bakeries grow like mushrooms after rain, the loaf must have something extra to return to it – or to the bakery where it comes from.
We offer four tips for places that will not be appreciated not only by bread donchans. That is, those who alternate their love pastry like socks.
Phase
You have probably heard about this bistro in Karlín. Since the beginning of its opening, which took place at the beginning of this year, the company of Petr and Gábina Ogurčák has received a lot of attention, especially the breakfasts that are served here. An integral part of the menu is also hand-baked 100% wholemeal sourdough bread. Its crust is really dark, the alternate is slightly sour. The loaf costs 75 crowns and you can also order it via the e-shop under the condition of personal collection.
