After years of partnerships with local restaurants, which we have made easy and reliable food delivery, we have been struggling to end Uber Eats in the Czech Republic on Wednesday, June 3, the company said in an announcement for Czech customers.
At a time when food services are in demand than ever due to the current distribution situation, Uber’s decision might seem illogical. According to the company, the reason for the termination of the activity is the first growing competition. The company emphasized that as a global game it must be very rational and enthusiastic to see how a specific product is thrown for a given market. With the company’s upbringing of Uber Eats in seven countries, the company is relocating to other European and global markets.
Uber Eats started operating in Prague in 2018. It first distributed McDonals restaurants in Prague, namely Muzeum, Vodikova, Florenc and Eden. Later services rozila.
Uber in Prague thus provides classic transport services, such as the termination of netnet activities. Departure of Uber Eats from the Czech Republic ns mrz. Possibility to order rides I will take the bag as well. The main priority is to minimize the impact on our valued employees, partner restaurants, partner couriers and customers who supported us, the company added.
