The music of the Prague Band will bring sharp rock and roll. He will play in Ústí tonight
When the legendary band Hudba Praha disbanded in 2015 due to the illness of their leader Michal Ambrož, fans “cried” their hits Mámo neper, Dirty Back, Majolenka, Ryba Badys, Výlet and others. However, two separate ensembles were formed immediately – Hudba Praha Band and Michal Ambrož and Hudba Praha. The first named will play his concert today at the National House in Ústí. The war between the two bands is not raging, on the contrary. “We’re dating, there was no fight, no lawsuits, no lawsuits, only now we have each of our bands. We play bigger rock and roll, they play more intimate things and bet more on stars like David Koller and Petr Váša, “guitarist Bohumil Zatloukal, co-founder of Music Prague and its predecessor Jasná Páky, told Deník.
The Hudba Praha Band is characterized by the harmony of the Zatloukal brothers’ guitars with the roaring bass guitar of Jirka Jelínek. The line-up is complemented by drummer Pavel Skala, frontman Zdeněk Hnyk, whose voice sounds from Prague’s Radio 1, as well as vocalists Lucie Lu Jandová, Míša Šponar-Fojtová and Jarmila Jamajka Koblicová. She was a mainstay of Music Prague for years, now she is recovering from illness. Jakub Douda plays the saxophone.
The band’s greatest hits of Jasná páka and Hudby Praha as Dirty Backs, Energy Conservation Act, Pal vocuď, Cizej chlap, Holka Tonka, To tak, Marijuana, Máma táta, Můry, Lunapark i Výlet.

However, new songs are also being created. “We have three or four new songs so far. We are preparing an album, but after years everything is taking us longer. And we have more responsibility. We have a few offers for the release of the CD, but in the end we may release it ourselves, “said Zatloukal.
The band’s current tour is called “Quo Vadis Homine”. The last one was called “God is in the beer” according to the text written by Jan Ivan Wünsch, the former bass player of Jasná Páky, about the song.
Never in English
This song is the only one that the band plays at concerts today. “But few people already know today that Jasná Páka was built on cover versions in the beginning. Before we started making our own songs, we played Bob Dylan, rock and roll, Yardbirds… First we played things for ourselves with Czech lyrics, never in English. We didn’t resist the things we liked, but we would mind having it built on them. Today we only play our own things. It’s sad when someone still does a business for those taken over, “added the guitarist, who also works in the group Lost Illusions. “They are folk-rock, my brother Vladimír and Jamaica Koblicová play in them. She got us stuck for a while, she had a stroke a year and a half ago, so she’s still getting out of it. Once every two months we started playing in Balbín’s poetic pub in Prague and now we will see how it goes next, “verified Bohumil Zatloukal.
