Hrvatska OTP Banka Hrvatska has completed the integration of Splitska banka
ZAGREB (Croatia), December 6 (SeeNews) – OTP Banka Hrvatska, a member of the Hungarian financial services group OTP, announced that it has successfully completed the integration of Splitska banka into its structure.
“We are happy because so far we have successfully completed a complex merger on the Croatian banking market. More than 600 members of the Integration Team worked hard on the project, so I thank all colleagues who ensured successful integration with their expertise and dedication,” he said earlier this week in a statement Chairman of the Management Board of OTP Banka Hrvatska Balazs Bekeffy.

From now on, Splitska banka will operate under the name OTP Banka Hrvatska.
In May 2017, OTP bought a 100% stake in Splitska banka, a former member of the French banking group Societe Generale, for 425 million euros ($484.3 million).
OTP Banka Hrvatska’s net profit in the first half of the year rose 140% year-on-year to HUF 12.2 billion ($43.4 million/EUR 37.8 million), OTP announced in August.
OTP explained that the comparability of the financial performance at the annual level is limited, since the data for the first half of 2017 did not include the full contribution of Splitska banka.
