Prague already knows what the new Dvorecký most will look like. I have no idea when construction will begin
The proposal refers to Cubism and has no construction above the bridge deck, so it blends in non-violently into the Vltava valley. The municipality according to náměstí pro transport Petr Dolínek (ČSSD) will commission the winning studios to complete the project documentation according to the proposal by the end of November.
The main purpose of the construction is to improve the transport connection of both banks of the Vltava. “We need to create parallel transport connections that will allow us to transport people elsewhere than through crowded sections in the center,” said Dolínek, who decided together with Mayor Adriana Krnáčová (ANO). He added that the planned construction at the former freight station in Smíchov also plays a role.
The bridge will be intended for trams, pedestrians and cyclists, according to the deputy, it is also possible to choose a passage for public transport buses. Car traffic will not drive on it. It is expected that the fire brigade or rescue service will be able to be on the bridge.

The eastern end of the bridge will be located at the Yellow Spa, north of Jeremenkova street. The western one will then lead near the Lihovar tram stop. Part of the project is the design of the new Dvorecký most tram stop. The estimated price includes both abutments and other additional technical and transport structures.
A new footbridge is also being prepared
So far, the last bridge in Prague over the Vltava, the Trojský most, was put into operation in October 2014. It was created as part of the Blanka tunnel complex and replaced the Troj tram bridge from 1981, nicknamed “Rámusák”, whose operation was ceremoniously terminated on October 7, 2013 by the museum tram.
