It’s the end of worry, or almost, for this mother. After filing a report for son son victim of harassment at Émile-Zola college a Toulouse and despite the procedures initiated by the establishment, the student will not return.
After an appointment with the Toulouse Academy on Monday 30 January, the request for a change of establishment was accepted. “They explained to us the plan of harassment launched and they asked us if our son was going to be followed”, details the mother.
A relief for the small family
Despite his many concerns, it is now the end of the story. “It went very quickly, we are all relieved that it is over. I will no longer have the ball in my stomach to know how my son will get in, ”she adds, appeased. Now the boy must be followed by a psychologist to “get back on a good footing”. “He has to exteriorize all that, it’s not going to happen like that.”
According to her, he is now “relieved that he is no longer there, he can’t wait to go back to school now”. For this mother, this story should be useful for other parents who are helpless in the face of bullying. “Violence must not be trivialized, but parents must be heard. Yes, we overprotect our children, it’s not wrong. But respect for others is important.
Today, the student will be able to integrate his new college next week. “It’s a discomfort that we can take away from them,” breathes this mother.
