Current transfers: Hartberg brings Salzburger Diakite and gives Ejupi
TSV Hartberg has signed Ousmane Diakite from Salzburg until summer 2024. The 22-year-old was brought in by the festival townsfolk in the summer of 2018. It was subsequently awarded to Liefering, Altach and St. Gallen. Efforts keep stopping the former youth national team player, Schwere. Now the 1.89 meter tall man from Mali is fit again.
“I am very happy to become a Hartberger player and would like to create myself with the club and the chairman for this opportunity. I will do my best to help the club. I already have a lot of positive things about the club and the joy it brings I’m looking forward to meeting my new teammates and continuing to achieve great things with them,” Diakite said in a statement.
Coach Markus Schopp is happy about the reinforcement: “Ousmane is an insane potential player who will definitely enrich us with his qualities on our way. I am really looking forward to working with him.”
“We are very happy that we can now put the central midfielder issue behind us. I would like to extend my warmest thanks to Salzburg and Christoph Freund for making the transfer possible. Ousmane is a very talented player who has repeatedly been thrown off track by insights. He is motivated and ready for a new start and we are convinced that he will help us immediately,” adds Chairman and Managing Director Erich Korherr.
The contract with Albert Ejupi was terminated by mutual consent, he should move to Israel. Thomas Kofler returns to his homeland in Tyrol to SC Imst.
