The new year has already been going on for a month and some of us have recovered from all the Christmas parties, New Year’s Eve parties and busy work. That’s why it’s high time to plan a trip, and that’s why you don’t even have to cross the border!
Travel optimism
Almost half (44 percent) of the Dutch believe that 2023 is the year to go new travel experiences to do. This comes from research Booking. com. With the corona crisis and all limited restrictions (largely) behind the carpet, we are happy to pull out again.
And even after the corona time, the world is still full of great hospitality, friendly solutions and a wealth of undiscovered pathways for intermediate travel experiences. But where should you go? With such a huge range of beautiful places, it can also be difficult to choose where to go. In the annual Traveler Review Awards, Booking.com has looked at the most hospitable cities in the Netherlands. They do this on the basis of more than 240 million (!) verified reviews from Booking.com travelers.
Zeeland coast
Maybe not many Dutch cities are on your travel yet-wishlist, but our own catering sector is rated very well. It is not an exotic travel destination outside, but our little country is still a huge attraction for foreign tourists.
